2 Corinthians 5:17-20

“If you want to be a faithful Christian in China, you must first take a class in prison theology!”

More than forty years after the fall of China’s “Bamboo Curtain,” many Christians remain ignorant about the lives of their Chinese brothers and sisters. This isn’t due to lack of information, however. Reports circulate about giant Chinese churches and congregations that number into the thousands. Yet, there are also reports about Chinese Christian leaders who disappear off the face of the earth, only to be released from prisons and mental institutions decades later.

“Which stories are true?” We often ask.

This week, Pastor Bob Fu from China Aid (http://www.chinaaid.org) joins Voice of the Martyrs Korea (http://vomkorea.kr) to answer this very question. Pastor Fu not only became a Christian while living inside of China, but took a course in “Prison Theology,” a class for which his pastor said every good Christian should prepare.
